This form of yoga is an adaptation of the traditional yoga poses for those who are not able to practice them due to the effects of aging, disabilities, post-surgery conditions.
In a very safe position, seated on the chair, or having the chair next to you to help with your balance, you will gain many benefits. The activity on the chair is designed to improve your strength and flexibility. It will help your memory and restructure your posture. Your blood circulation, so important to many body functions, will improve during this class. Standing positions will help improve your balance. It is a very gentle but powerful in result class for women and man after the age of 55.
The chair will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing that does not restrain the blood flow. Wear comfortable sports shoes. Make sure you have water with you to refill your hydration needs before and after your class.
